Tuttle Lake May Be The Main Attraction But There's Plenty More To Do In The Surrounding Area As Well

Looking for more to do? Here are some suggestions:

                                        * The nearby Mecan River  is classified as a Class 1 trout stream. It is also a must-do for canoers looking for scenic paddles. The curvy river has plenty of places to put in and take, allowing for trips as short as an hour or as long as a day.

                                        * Bicycle trails abound, and the town of Princeton, about 10 miles away, is a cycling hub. For trail maps

                                        * Princeton's unique downtown offers shopping opportunities at cutting-edge boutiques and numerous antique stores. Princeton is also the home of “Wisconsin’s Largest Weekly Outdoor Flea Market," which is held every Saturday, 6 a.m. to 4 p.m., late April to mid-October. For more information, visit
                                        princetonwi.com.

                                        * You can find more unique and antique shops as well as different dining options in the city of Wautoma, ten miles to the north. Visit  wausharachamber.com.

                                        * Like to hike? The Ice Age Trail in both Marquette and Waushara Counties is a short drive away.

                                        * Golfers can tee it up at these four area golf courses, all about 15 minutes away: Thal Acres Links & Lanes; Two Oaks North Golf Club; Waushara Country Club; and White Lake Country Club.
